I was rescued by a teacher in South Los Angeles on July 6th. Actually, I rescued myself by following a 9 year old boy home to his apartment. This boy then called his teacher and she came to pick me up. I had to spend 4 days at the shelter, but my owner didn't show up... boo woof. Instead, the teacher showed up on July 10th and bailed me out (trust me, it was like doing time). She promised her student that if my owner didn't show up, then she'd find me a home sweet forever home. I am about 2-3 years old, terrier mix with a white mohawk, a little on the chubby side (more to love!), about 30 lbs., but should be 25 lbs., up to date on my vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. I have a limp... possibly an old injury, but I'm going to the vet to get it checked out hopefully this week.
I am in a wonderful foster home now because the teacher's dog isn't dog friendly. I absolutely LOVE kids and people... I am a social butterfly. I walk well on a leash and even did well at the doggie park. I also love taking baths and getting groomed.
If you are interested in meeting me, please e-mail missmatsui@aol.com or call her at 818.426.3820. A homecheck will be required and I am asking for a small donation for my foster home so she can foster more dogs like me in the future.
Thanks woof.
